How we handle your personal data

This privacy policy explains how Sportstal Dijckhoeve handles your personal data. We value your privacy and do our best to process your data carefully, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Who we are

The controller responsible for your personal data is:

Sportstal Dijckhoeve
Lisserdijk 275
2165 AA Lisserbroek
Email: info@dijckhoeve.nl
Phone: 06-29198458

2. What personal data we process

We process a limited amount of personal data, depending on how you use our website:

Contact by email — When you send us an email, we process the details you share with us, such as your name and your email address, as well as any other information you include in your message.

Website visits — Our website uses Google Analytics. No personal data within the meaning of the GDPR that can directly identify you is collected. We collect anonymised data, such as a truncated (anonymised) IP address, pages visited, session duration and information about your browser and device. This only happens after you have given your consent via the cookie banner.

3. Purpose and legal basis for processing

We process your personal data for the following purposes and on the following legal bases:

Contact by email — We process your name and email address in order to answer your questions or requests. The legal basis for this is our legitimate interest: we have a business interest in being able to communicate with customers and interested parties (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Google Analytics — We use anonymised visitor statistics to gain insight into how our website is used, so that we can improve the website. The legal basis for this is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You give this consent via the cookie banner on our website.

4. How long we keep your data

We do not keep your personal data for longer than is necessary for the purpose for which it was collected:

Contact by email — Email messages and the personal data contained in them are kept for as long as is necessary to answer your question, and for a short period afterwards in case of follow-up questions. Where we keep this data to record an agreement, we retain it for the statutory retention period.

Google Analytics — The anonymised visitor data is retained by Google Analytics for a maximum of 14 months. After that, this data is automatically deleted.

5. Who we share your data with

We do not share your personal data with third parties for commercial purposes. Where necessary, we share data with the following processor:

Google — For collecting anonymised visitor statistics via Google Analytics, Google acts as a processor. Google processes this data within the European Economic Area (EEA). We have concluded a data processing agreement with Google, which stipulates that Google processes the data on our behalf only.

We only provide your personal data to third parties if we are legally obliged to do so, for example at the request of a competent authority.

6. Your rights as a data subject

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right of access — You can ask us to show which personal data we process about you.
  • Right to rectification — You can ask us to correct inaccurate personal data.
  • Right to erasure — You can ask us to delete your personal data.
  • Right to restriction of processing — You can ask us to temporarily restrict the processing of your personal data.
  • Right to object — You can object to the processing of your personal data where it is carried out on the basis of a legitimate interest.
  • Right to data portability — You can request your personal data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable form in order to transfer it to another controller.

Would you like to exercise one of these rights? Please contact us at info@dijckhoeve.nl. We will respond to your request within one month.

7. Withdrawing consent

If you have given consent for the placement of cookies and the use of Google Analytics, you can withdraw this consent at any time. You can do so by adjusting the cookie settings in your browser or by resetting the cookie preferences on our website. Withdrawing your consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing that took place before the withdrawal.

8. Filing a complaint with the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens

If you believe that we do not handle your personal data carefully, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens). You can do so via the website of the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens: www.autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl. Of course, we hope that you will contact us first so that we can look for a solution together.

9. Security of your personal data

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. For example, we use a secure connection (HTTPS) for our website and we limit access to personal data to the people who need it.

10. No automated decision-making

We do not make decisions based on automated processing of your personal data, nor do we use profiling that has legal effects or a similarly significant impact on you.

11. Transfer of data outside the EEA

We do not transfer your personal data to countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA). The visitor data collected via Google Analytics is processed by Google within the EEA and is not stored outside the EEA.

12. No accounts, forms or payments

Our website does not offer user accounts and does not contain forms through which you can enter personal data with us. We do not process payment data and do not use social media embedded content. The only way you share personal data with us is by sending us an email.

13. Changes to this privacy policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time, for example when our website or the law changes. The most up-to-date version can always be found on this page. We recommend that you check this policy regularly.
